Description

The City aims to develop a Comprehensive Traffic Safety Action Plan that fosters a culture of safety through collaboration, emphasizing that every resident has a role and responsibility.  The goal is to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries and improve safety through low-cost, high-impact measures.  The ultimate goal is to eliminate crash fatalities altogether.

The City plans to procure consultant services to prepare the plan.  The consultant scope of work will involve tasks such as engaging the public, analyzing collision data, compiling a list of appropriate countermeasures, considering transportation equity, developing an implementation plan and program, and preparing the draft and final plans.
