Emergency Notifications

The City of Campbell uses AlertSCC for community emergency notification systems. Officials use these systems to notify residents by telephone of emergencies such as earthquakes, fires, situations involving hazardous materials, hostage situations, barricaded subjects, etc.

AlertSCC

Additionally, the City of Campbell has joined 13 other public safety agencies in Santa Clara County in implementing AlertSCC, a regional mass notification system. AlertSCC is used to provide critical information to residents of Santa Clara County in the event of an emergency. The AlertSCC system can also be used for priority messages that do not rise to the level of emergency notifications and community outreach messages. Participation in the county regional mass notification system is helpful in the event of incidents involving multiple jurisdictions or incidents that occur near a shared border with another city.
