ENFORCEMENT - Is the National Guard stopping people in Campbell?

There are no National Guard checkpoints in Campbell.The National Guard nor the Campbell Police are stopping people in Campbell solely on the factor they are out in public. The Campbell Police have issued zero citations based on the order.

Governor Newson announced on March 17th the activation of the California National Guard. The activation is to support any humanitarian mission that arises and to potentially assist in efforts such as food distribution and alternative medical treatment sites. The activation is not for law enforcement support or martial law. 

Please keep in mind the overall goal of these actions are being taken to support the needs to help slow the spread of COVID-19. We will be sure to keep our community updated with correct and relevant information.
