Sergio Lopez
Councilmember Sergio Lopez was elected to the Campbell City Council in 2020 representing District 2.
With longtime roots in the community and a lifelong commitment to service, Councilmember Lopez has worked at all levels of government, from the South Bay to the White House. A historian and author, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Campbell Historical Museum Foundation, and his writing has been published in Time, Teen Vogue, America magazine, and many more.
A regional leader in housing, environmental, and transportation issues, Councilmember Lopez serves on the Board of Directors of the Valley Transportation Authority and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
Councilmember Lopez graduated from Yale University and Duke Divinity School and attends the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
