After receiving feedback from hundreds of City residents, the Campbell City Council voted unanimously to place Measure K on the November 5, 2024 Municipal Election ballot. If authorized by voters, Measure K would establish a voter-approved, local ½ cent sales tax which would generate approximately $7,000,000 per year for the City.
All Measure K funds would be spent on maintaining community City services such as police and fire protection,
local streets, sidewalks, libraries, parks, and sports/recreation centers. Maintaining these services helps
Campbell to remain a safe, beautiful, and vibrant place to live, work and raise a family.
Measure K funding is subject to the City’s responsible fiscal accountability practices, including public transparency on how taxpayer funds are spent. This includes online budget and expenditure reports and annual independent audits available for public review. By law, the State cannot take Measure K funding.
In addition to Measure K, voters living in City Council Districts 1 and 2 can choose/elect their local city council
representative in the upcoming Municipal election. In addition to federal and state candidates, there are state
propositions and other local measures on your November ballot.
