Campbell CA 95008
The Stories for Solidarity Project provides historically significant public art display in Campbell. Large-format art panels depict messages of solidarity. Local Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) artist created these large-scale art panels during the social justice movement of 2020 sparked by the murder of George P. Floyd, Jr. These beautiful art panels covered storefronts in downtown San Jose.
The Civic Improvement Commission and the Campbell Historical Museum are proud to be opening an outdoor art exhibit of some of these historical art panels. The exhibit will open in November 2021 and will be displayed through January 2022 at the Campbell Historical Museum.
Check back to this website for additional programming around social justice and ally ship during the exhibit. There will be online discussions via Zoom and educational opportunities for all.
