Campbell Park Pathway Project
(Project completed November, 2021)
Southeast corner of E. Campbell Avenue and Gilman Avenue
The City of Campbell Public Works Maintenance Division will construct a pathway at Campbell Park to connect users between East Campbell Avenue and the existing pathway accessing the Los Gatos Creek Trail. The new pathway will provide a separation between users destined for the creek trail and those destined for the adjacent youth playground.
Public Works Maintenance Division anticipates that construction will start late May/Early June 2021.
The City’s Maintenance Division is responsible for managing and constructing a new multi-use pathway in Campbell Park. The City Council approved this project as part of the FY21 Capital Improvement Program. Funding source came from the Parks Dedication Funds.
There is an existing pathway connecting E. Campbell Avenue and the Los Gatos Creek Trail. This pathway abuts the existing youth playground and east of the picnic tables. The new pathway will be located west of the picnic table. This new alignment provides separation for users accessing the creek trail and those headed for the adjacent youth playground.
Maintenance Division is currently sourcing the necessary material and making arrangements with subcontractors in preparation of the construction.
|Construction||Late May/Early June '21 - August '21|
